No previous plan reading experience is required for this beginner friendly course.

- Identify components of drawings and specs

- Understand common views represented on drawings

- Recognize symbols on drawings

- List drawing types by design and discipline

- Accurately read and interpret drawings

- Describe documents at different phases of design

- Accurately read and interpret specifications

- Interpret drawings in relation to specifications

- Communicate effectively through drawings

- Avoid errors in drawing interpretations

- Learn how to utilize physical/traditional tools and computer tools for document review
